Move & Play
Created for children who have not yet entered kindergarten (approximately ages 3 t 5 years old), Move & Play provides the opportunity to experience the fun of moving to music, helping with the early development of physical motion, rhythm, and coordination. Children are guided through activities such as bending, stretching and moving and progresses to loco-motor movements including marching, galloping and jumping. Children also focus on learning to follow directions and are introduced to dancing as part of a group. Individual expression and creativity is encouraged as each child learns to use their body.

KF offers two Move & Play class offerings: one tailored for children with Down syndrome and another tailored for children with Autism spectrum disorders.

Move & Groove
Created for children ranging from kindergarten to grade 5 (approximately ages 6 to 10 years old), Move & Groove provides the opportunity to experience the fun of moving to music, the excitement of dance, and to challenge oneself to achieve. Children begin to develop a sense of poise and confidence, and at the same time, they are encouraged to explore their own creative expression of music and dance movement. The use of props such as scarves, fans, and balls, makes this a fun and playful experience while introducing the children to the social skills of group dynamics, self-control, and listening.

KF offers two Move & Groove class offerings: one tailored for children with Down syndrome, and another tailored for children with Autism spectrum disorders.

Musical Chairs
This program provides children in K through 12th grade who are confined to wheelchairs the opportunity to experience the beauty of moving to music, and does not require them to leave their wheelchairs during the classes.  The children take part in an assortment of creative contemporary and traditional dance.  Children are assisted by instructors as needed, and for certain activities may be paired with Kravenko Youth Ballet's senior dancers.

On-Site Dance

"On Site Dance" is performed in variance venues, such as schools and churches.  This endeavor, with the cooperation with the Kravenko Youth Ballet company, offers a program of dance performances, education, and outreach for children.

Our aim is to promote a shared experience of the art of dance and to share the mission of the Kravenko Foundation.  It is hoped by providing these opportunities we can increase awareness of what is possible for children, specifically those with physical challenges or developmental disorders, as well as those who are at risk, and to promote positive responses to dance.
